What drives me. What drives you?

Everyone always asks me, " So what is the point of you going out and being naked in nature?"
It always takes me a minute to respond.  I try to think of simple ways to put it, but I always struggle to do so.

It's liberating is always the first thing I find myself saying.
Liberating because we spend so much of our time covering up, hiding our beautiful bodies with clothing.  Clothing that immediately throws us into a category by which brand/stlye we wear.
For that one day we decide to hike a trail or climb a mountain and get naked, we free ourselves from those categories.  In that brief moment, we are free from whatever categories people have put us in.
Since starting these adventures a year and a half ago, I have learned that I love my body no matter how many dimples my ass has.
Personally, I feel this is what I needed more of; loving my body. I do not need any brand name clothes to make me love it, I just need it.

It's a way for my to rebel in the purest form.

It's  rebellion  because we have been raised in a society that does not want us to be naked. At least not outside of our own property.  For me,  knowing that I am naked outside where I could potentially get (legally) in trouble, is my driving force.

*** I realize that what I believe does not resonate with everyone, and that we have our own reason for getting out there and baring it all.  I want to hear your reasons, maybe it's because you just like being naked, or airing it out after a long hard hike.

One Reason A Naked Adventure Is The Only Kind Of Adventure You’ll Ever Need

Liberation.

That’s all the reason you need. Liberate your labia, liberate your willy and his lugnuts. Don’t keep them covered up or tucked away in your dark and sweaty places.

Let the sun shine on them. Let the snow freeze them. Let the rain soak them.

And once your so-called “private” parts have been exposed to the elements and you’ve ran blissfully atop mountains, through valleys, meadows, canyons and across rivers with your bosoms bouncing or whippersnapper waving wildly about like one of those phallic inflatable floppy tube dancers, then you’ll know.

This. This is how things are supposed to be.

This is freedom.

It’s not so much that the world doesn’t need to see what you’ve got. It’s that what’ve you got needs to see the world.

I know, it sounds profound. And it is. As profound as the feeling you’ll get when you shed your soul-shackling burqa and introduce your own beauty to nature’s. It will be like reuniting with a long-lost friend. It will be like climbing Mount Everest. It will be like base-jumping. It will be like making love to James Franco.

It will be epic.

So do it.

Find yourself on an adventure and take off your clothes. Run free. You won’t regret it. In fact you’ll thank me and want to pay me because I just gave you better advice than any therapist ever will or could. It’s that good.

And a naked adventure isn’t always to an exotic place with snow-capped peaks or screensaver vistas. You can take a naked adventure anywhere, almost. Just watch for the prudes. They’re out there, like the po-po, like hall monitors, like fun-sponges, like that little kid from school with glasses and greasy hair who would run and tell your teacher whenever there was an inkling of cootie contagion. Years later, he or she is suffering from sexual frustration. Don’t be like that kid. Go on a naked adventure. Bring a friend or two.

Free yourself.

All good things are wild and free

Being alone outside was something I took for granted when I was younger. The enjoyment I get from putting my bare feet in the grass or in a small stream I found on the hike, is like no other. I feel so liberated...so free.
With this in mind we have created a summer check list to keep us wild and free...so here it is:
• get sunburnt in unusual places 😉
• jump into as a new body of water every week (lakes/rivers/ponds/creeks)
• find a new hike that no one knows about
• explore our own backyards
• embrace the freedom
• embrace the wildness
•&& go somewhere we've never been

Goodbye winter...hello summer

This summer our blog will be about our attempt to complete our summer check list.
Stay tuned 😘
